<text>SOLO Impression located in Riverdale, Bronx, New York, is a publisher and printer of Fine Art prints and Fabric multiples. The studio has a lithography press and 3 embroidery machines with the capacity for hand printed lithography, woodcut, linoleum cut, pochoir printing and embroidery, including large format inkjet printing.

SOLO Impression was founded in 1975 by Judith Solodkin, the first woman to graduate from the Tamarind Institute as a Master Lithographer. Rodney Doyle continues to add his expertise to SOLO Impression. In addition to publishing, SOLO Impression contracts to print editions for artists and other publishers.

SOLO Impression takes a collaborative approach working closely with the artist to develop their images to their fullest. The printers guide the artist through sometimes unfamiliar territory, acquainting the artist with the multitude of possibilities, suggesting innovative and experimental techniques. On approval by the artist limited editions are printed and documentation provided.

Works published by SOLO Impression have appeared in museums and exhibitions throughout the world, and can be found in private and public collections such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum, the Whitney Museum of Fine Art, the New York Public Library Print Collection, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Library of Congress, the National Gallery of Art, the Biblioteque Nationale, and the Tate Gallery to name a few.</text>
